On How to Meet Students' Essential Learning Needs

学习需要是学生的一种心理需求状态。学习需要不仅包括学生在学习过程中力求通过努力而满足的显性的学业目标需要,而且还包括那些保障和促进学生学业成功的隐性的基础需要,如学生心理安全的需要、自我感觉重要的需要、交往互动的需要、认知方面的需要等等。教师在教学过程中要对这些基础需要予以相当的关注和合理的满足。

Learning needs are used to represent students＇ psychological demands, which include not only the explicit academic goals that students work hard for, but also the implicit but essential needs to promote and ensure the academic goals to be achieved. These implicit learning needs include students＇ need for psychological security, their need for self-importance, their need for communication and interaction, and their need for cognitive development. Instructors should attach great importance to and meet students＇ basic and important learning needs.
