On - line monitoring system is used in the fault diagnosis and cause analysis of the excess vibration interlock of high - pressure cylinder and low - pressure cylinder in the cracking gas compressor of ethylene plant.Corresponding countermeasures are put forward, and the problem of excess vibration is solved.
