摘要
19世纪中叶,中国出于富国强兵的需要,全国开始了创办现代学校教育的运动,数学教育的现代化也由此开始.美国由于其在世界上的杰出数学成就,成为中国学习的榜样之一.早期的教会学校和教会大学模仿美国数学教育的课程与教育模式,一批熟悉西方教育体系的美国传教士在中国的学校教书并参与管理,发挥了奠基的作用.庚子赔款及由此带来的近40年的向美派出留学制度,使得中国近代一大批教育精英及数学人才得以培养,这批留美学生在中国数学教育的现代化中做出了杰出贡献.美国学术与教育界从多个方面给予了中国数学界以支持与帮助,中国的数学教育才得以快速转向,现代数学教育在中国扎根、开花、结果.与先进国家保持交流和开放是数学教育发展的必要条件。
One and half century ago, China started a movement system and learning from western countries. The modernization of modernizing school education by abolishing old examination of mathematics of education was also started from that time. as American mathematics education was outstanding, china follows its example, mathematics curriculum and mathematics education model of American school was copied by china early missionary school and missionary college, and it was a very important foundation of the china mathematics education. The students trained in America returned and made great contribution to Chinese education. The department of mathematics of Peking University, Tsinghua University and Nankai were the proof of their contribution. America academic circles and educational circles gave Chinese mathematics circles much help and support in many ways, because of it, China mathematics education rapidly to turn direction and accomplish the incipient modernization of mathematics education. It was an essential condition for the development of mathematics education to keep the communication with advanced countries.
