摘要
运动检测是现代视频监控系统的核心。在分析和探讨了几种运动检测算法后,提出了一种新的应用于视频监控系统的运动检测算法,该算法结合统计法和边缘检测筛选出运动边缘点,对运动边缘点逐个进行块匹配最优搜索,估算出运动矢量。该算法的应用有效地压缩了存储的视频数据,改善了系统性能,有很好的实用价值。
Motion detection is the core of modem video surveillance system. Based on the analysis and discussion of several motion detection algorithms ,a new motion detection algorithm is proposed. The algorithm which can suppress variable scene illumination is used to label the motion region. An AND operation is performed between the label image and the edge image, and the edge points in the motion region are obtained. Then,the block match method is used to estimate motion vectors of the moving object. The stored data is compresed effectively,and the system performance is improved. The proposed algorithm is of great practical value.
