It is needed to foster students＇ engineering quality in our engineering colleges and universities in the times. The present teaching situation about engineering colleges and universities of China and foreign countries is analysed, and the necessity and feasibility are discussed, too. It is necessary step by step to carry out students＇ engineering equality education. Combing the examples abroad, the way of engineering quality education is pointed out.
