摘要
中国对毛姆的译介史和研究史基本上可划分为1949年以前及1978年以后两个阶段。通过梳理毛姆作品在中国的译介和研究,概述了中国学术界对毛姆的文坛地位、其创作的思想内容和艺术特色的理解。
The history of translation of and research on W. S. Maugham＇s works in China can be divided into two periods： before 1949 and after 1978. On the basis of putting the translation and research into some kind of order, this article summarizes Chinese academe＇s understandings of Maugham＇s position in literary world, the main contents and artistic features of his writings.
