《西方经济学》是高等财经专业的学科基础课程。通过教学和学习,使学生对微观经济学和宏观经济学中的基本原理、基本知识以及这些理论知识在经济发展中的运行机制和方法、调控的手段等有较全面的认识和理解。但是西方经济学是一门"老师难教、学生难学"的理论课程,许多理论要通过大量图形和数理实证分析以及经济学的特有概念去理解,许多经济变量之间的逻辑性很强,因此,我们必须从教学方法上寻找突破口。

Western economics is one of the fundamental courses for the seminar financial major.This subject acquaints students with the principles of microeconomics and macroeconomics,as well as their applications in the economic development,such as the operational mechanisms and methods of regulation and control.However,this course is theory-based,which is difficult for teachers to teach and hard for students to learn.A large number of graphics,mathematical and empirical analysis,and technical terms of economics have to be employed to better understand the theories.In addition,there are many economic variables which are logically driven.Therefore,breakthrough of the teaching methods shall be made.
