摘要
本文从人的语源出发,探讨人的本质。汉字"人"的视像构型显示了面向未来",向生而立"的人,蕴含着亲亲仁爱、血缘繁衍的时间性。"大"是祈祷者(areter),是负有使命的祭司、贵族,是古代政治的整合者。在英语中,man的语源为思想、尺度(rule),因而与统治者(ruler)有关。Person是穿越神人关系的面具,与神沟通者,其意象与"大"相似。People的结构暗含着进入城邦的隐义,表征了人是政治(城邦)的动物的判断。通过中西语源的分析,可以说,人本质上是政治的。
This text starts with the point of etymology to explore man＇s nature. Visually, the structure the Chinese character ＂人＂ signifies a meaning of facing the future. Man, who ＂exists towards future life＂ is kindred and kind, maintains a consistency of generations. ＂大＂ is the areter. It has some kind of duty as a flame or arist who conforms the archaic politics. In English, the etymology of ＂man＂ is thought and rule. Therefore, it can be related to ruler. ＂Person＂ is a mask that can go through the relationship of God and man, so it is a communicator and has the similar imago with ＂大 ＂. The letter organization of ＂people＂ implies the potential meaning of entering a polis, which confirms the judgment, ＂man is by nature a political （polis） animal＂. According to the etymology analysis of Chinese and foreign words, we can draw a conclusion that man＇s nature is political.
