The Analysis and Strategies on the Bookbinding and Printing Quality Problems in Academic Libraries

通过对10万册新进图书的印装质量进行调查,分析了图书印装质量问题产生和形成的主要因素,提出了在现代信息条件下提高图书采访质量的具体措施与对策。

This article investigates the basic data of bookbinding and printing quality of the overall 100000 volume newly purchased books in our library in the year of 2006. It then figures up the percentage of books with bookbinding and printing quality problem according to the academic categories and subjects and analyzes the reasons of problems. It finally puts forward the valid measures and strategies of the quality control of library collection development, in order to develop the standardization of the collection development in terms of the bookbinding ＆ printing, and thus to promote the library collection quality.
