商人组织与近代广西城镇经济的发展——近代广西商人组织系列研究之二

A Study on the Businessmen Organizations and the Development of Urban Economy in Guangxi during China's Modern Times before 1919

近代以来,随着商人组织及其网络系统的建立与不断完善,其在促进城镇经济发展上的作用日渐突出。文章从历史学的角度对近代以来广西城镇以同乡会和商会为主体的商人组织在推动城镇工商业经济发展中的功能与绩效进行了初步探讨,以透视其在广西近代城镇社会经济变迁过程中所扮演的角色及其影响。

Since China＇s modern times before 1919 with the construction and perfection of businesmen organizations and their network system,their functions on pushing the development of urban economy became more and more obvious. From the historiographic point of view, this paper is to discuss the functions and achievements of the businesmen organizations mainly consisting of townmen and businesmen associations in Guangxi since modern times, in order to reveal their roles and influence in the urban social and economaic change process of Guangxi during the modern times.
