Objective To evaluate the relationship of age, menopausal period, age of menarche, parity and lactation and bone mineral density (BMD).Methods Totally, 159 healthy postmenopausal women were investigated . The age, menopausal period, age of menarche, parity, lactation ,height , weight and BMD of distal radios data were collected. And the relationships among them were analysed. Results There were significantly difference in BMD between women aged less than 50 years and more than 55 years( P 〈 0.01 ) ;BMD of distal radios were significantly increased in women with less than four years of menopausal period compared with those menostasis more than ten years( P 〈 0.01 ) ; BMD of distal radios were significantly increased in women with less than sixteen months of loctation compared with those loctating more than thirty-six months( P 〈 0.01 ) ;BMD of radio-distant were significantly increased in women who had one delivery compared with women having more than four deliveries( P 〈 0.01). Correlation analysis showed that the age, menopausal period, the number of delivery, months of loctation were negatively correlated with BMD( P 〈 0.01 ), but the age of menarche was not ( P 〉 0.05) .After adjustment of the height and BMI, the BMD of radio-distant was negatively correlated with the age, menopausal period , the number of delivery( P 〈 0.01 ), but the age of menarche was not ( P 〉 0.05). Conclusion The age, menopausal period, the number of delivery and loctation are associated with BMD of distal radios.
