Application of video-endoscope in the nondestructive detection of power plant equipments

In this paper the species and the effects of video - endoscopes were introduced, the history and the technical development tendency were described. The application in power industry and the manufacture status of its auxiliary equipments were discoursed. By the way of examples, the methods which make use of the video - endoscopes in nondestructive detecting for central hole of steam turbine rotor, boiler header and GIS transformer substation bus were also described. Because of the technical improvement in auxiliary equipment design, the application range of videoendoscopes was expanded, and the detecting effects have been enhanced.
