This article elaborated how to realize the communication between Simens PLC S7-200 and the LED Chinese display control card in the mine pit elevator control system, complete the real-time monitoring and Chinese displaying of the mine pit cage positionin in the mineshaft and the elevator hoisting type. Introduced with emphasis on the CRC check in the data transmission between S7-200 and LED Chinese display control card. This communication mode has successfully applied to the Shandong Xiaoguanzhuang iron ore mine hoist system, and the operation effect is good.
