In Shi Pingmei＇s proses written in heryouth, there is no dreams, no passion or romance but bleakness and grace after tasting sadness of life, and but serenity and lamentation after experiencing various vicissitudes of life. There are 3 reasons why Shi Pingmei＇s works demonstrate so thorough tragedy flavor： pain for unreachable dream in great age, thought of life nature, i. e. life is like an ocean of sadness, sadness of unsatisfactory family.
