Wordsworth was a Romantic English poet in the 19th century and the major representative of "the Lake Poets". His lyric of I Wandered Lonely as a Cloud is well- known as an exotic flower in the garden of Romanticism. This paper mainly interprets the theme of nature, the role of emotion & imagination in composing process and the language style of the poem, and establishes that a marked feature of Wordsworth's natural poems is to combine emotion with scenes, feeling and setting happily blended. Man and nature depend on each other; nature not only purifies our soul but also protects us as a friend and a tutor, so that we are awakened to the love of nature and the right treatment of nature.
