大学应是培养、弘扬人文精神的场所,大学教育的最终目的是最大程度地赋予人以应有的精神含量。而历史和现实诸多因素使得中国的教育偏离了人文主义的教育传统。大学文化素质教育,作为一种基于对人与社会本质的认识而提出的大学教育思想和培养策略,通过培养全面发展的人,使人文精神必将实现它的回归。
