Studies on the Influence of Foreign Exchange Reserves Increasement to Price Level

外汇储备快速增长与物价水平上升已成为我国经济中的两个突出问题。目前中外学者关于外汇储备与物价水平之间关系存在着不同观点;基于中央银行的资产负债表和货币数量理论,对外汇储备增长对物价水平的影响进行理论分析;表明:从长期来看,我国外汇储备增长可以通过影响货币供应量而间接影响消费物价指数,从而增加物价上涨的压力。

Rapidaly increasing foreign exchange reserves and increasing price level are two of the most important problems in our economy. There are different ideas about the relationship between foreign exchange reserves and price level. By analyzing how the increasing foreign exchange reserves influence price level based on central bank＇s balance sheet and quantitative monetary theory theoretically, we can find that th foreign exchange reserve increasement can effect the consume price index indirectly through efecting the money supply, and then increase the pressure of price level＇s rising.
