人像组合是根据目击者提供的犯罪嫌疑人像貌特征,运用像貌特征资料合成、再现犯罪嫌疑人像貌的图像技术。目前人像组合与识别技术的实际应用在相貌特征的分类标准、资料库建立、系统化等方面存在一些问题,科学性问题有待进一步解决。应推进计算机人像组合与识别系统的发展、加强破案信息的反馈,加强人像组合与识别操作人员的培训,以使此项技术的效用在侦查中得到最大程度的发挥。

The author was talking about the development process of the portrait combination and the portrait discrimination, setting forth the existed of the portrait combination and the portrait discrimination in application.
