Vieille test is an effective method of measuring stability of powder. With the examples of some single and double base powders, the determining methods of dangerous articles, the relationship and effect between degree of stability and stability at room temperature, the applicable range of stability test methods by observing the color of test paper were analyzed and illuminated.
