摘要
本文通过大量实例归纳出安徽省对外宣传翻译中存在的常见质量问题:(1)粗枝大叶的错误;(2)词语滥用;(3)欠额翻译的错误;(4)专有名词和术语翻译混乱,没有规范统一;(5)缺乏背景知识,误解原文意思;(6)死译硬译,漏译,并分析了问题产生的原因,提出了一些解决办法。
On the basis of many examples, this paper summarizes common mistakes in the publicity materials concerning Anhui: (1) Careless mistakes; (2) Abuse of words and expressions; (3) Under-translation; (4) Random translation of proper nouns and special terms; (5) Lack of background knowledge; (6) Mechanical and servile translation; (7) Incomplete translation; (8) Wordy and redundant translation. It further points out the causes of those translation problems and their tentative solutions.
