从文化视角看诗歌意象的传译

Translation of Poetic Images in the Cultural Perspective

诗歌是一国语言的精华,是一种文化的结晶。诗歌翻译是不同民族间深层文化交流的一个重要组成部分。诗即意象,译诗即译意象。本文试图从文化视角,通过移植和改写两种方式来对诗歌意象成功传译的例子进行剖析,意在说明怎样更好地传达原诗的文化意象,最大限度地减少诗歌翻译中的文化走失。

Poetry is a gem of a language and the crystallization of a culture. And poetry translation plays an important role in deep cultural exchange between different peoples. A poem consists of images; and poetry translation is a kind of translation of images. The paper, from the cultural perspective, attempting the exploration of two means of image--rendering, namely transplanting and rewriting, aims at conveying maximally the cultural images of the original and at the same time minimizing the cultural loss in poetry translation.
