文章以刘鹗的章回体小说《老残游记》为例并通过对其小说中有关音乐内容的描述所进行的分析,以此阐明现存于小说笔记类古籍文献中所记述、描述、理论研究的的音乐内容实为不可多得的我国音乐历史史料,以及这些史料对音乐艺术的历史意义和现实意义。

Taken IJiu E＇s novel Lao Can Youji （Lao Can travel notes） as an example, the papers analyses the describing of music content in it, elucidated the music content existed in the historical documents had been a significance both in the history and realism to the music art.
