英汉词义不对等现象与词汇教学

摘要 传统的按照"拼读、词性、意义"的框架来对学生进行词汇教学的方法,使学生以为每个单词都应该有与之意义完全对等的汉语词汇。事实上,除一些专门用语外,汉语和英语几乎找不到完全对等的词语。本文就此对英汉词汇进行探讨,以期对词汇教学有所帮助。 The traditional way of teaching English vocabulary is to teach students the spelling, lexical category and lexical meaning of words, which makes them tend to think that each English word may have an exact equivalent one in Chinese. In fact, there are almost no completely equivalent words between English and Chinese, apart from some proper ones. This paper intends to discuss about the differences of the lexical meanings in some words between English and Chinese, aiming to be helpful for English vocabulary teaching.
