摘要
隐喻是广告中常用的一种修辞手段和思维模式。文章从语用角度总结了广告中隐喻所具有的五种功能,即描述功能、劝说功能、亲近功能、启发功能和想象功能,并列举实例加以阐述和印证。最后,探讨了广告中隐喻的翻译。
Metaphor is a frequently used rhetorical device and thinking pattern in Advertisement. This paper summarizes metaphor's five pragmatic functions in advertisement, i.e. representational function, persuasive function, intimate function, heuristic function and imaginative function, followed by examples to illustrate and verify them, finally, this paper also explores metaphor's translation in advertisement.
