Content Determination of Total Saponin and Monomer Saponin of Panax Notoginseng Flower Bud in Different Habitats and Growth Ages

目的测定三七主产区云南文山不同产地、生长年限三七花蕾中总皂苷和单体皂苷Rb1、Rb3的含量。方法采用比色法测定总皂苷含量,用高效液相色谱法测定单体皂苷含量。结果不同产地、生长年限三七花蕾中总皂苷和单体皂苷含量差异较大,三年生含量高于二年生。结论本法可用于对三七花蕾的质量控制,为三七花的质量评价及开发利用提供实验依据。

Objective To determine the contents of total saponin and monomer saponin Rbl and Rb3 of Panax notoginseng flower bud in different habitats and growth ages in the major productive area of Wenshan,Yunnan. Methods Determine the content of total saponin and monmer saponin through colorimetry and high efficient liquid chromatography （HPLC） respectively. Results The contents of total saponin and monomer saponin in different habitats and ages vary significantly. The their contents of three-year Panax notoginseng are higher than those of two-year one. Conclusion This method can be used for quality evaluation of panax notoginseng flower bud.
