In terms of a new type sensor cable, the construction and design characteristics as well as key points and matters needing attention in the manufacturing process are presented. These cables are installed in deep wells, mines and reservoir to monitor the variation in water level and pressure ; for this reason, the cable is required to have breather tube as well as high tensile strength and high shielding performance.
