On the informationization and new-type industrialization of the western region

信息化有助于提升西部地区的产业结构级次,实现西部地区产业结构现代化和高级化。结合西部地区区域经济发展特点,通过改造传统产业,发展信息产业,加快信息基础设施建设,全面推进政府信息化、工业企业信息化和社会公共领域信息化工程的建设,走可持续发展的新型工业化道路。

The informationization will be helpful to promote industrial structure level, and to achieve industrial modernization and advancement in western area. With the characteristics of regional economic development of the western, it will be a path of sustainable development to new industrialization, through transformation of traditional industries, the development of infor- marion industry, and speeding up the information infrastructure construction, comprehensively promoting the construction of government project, industrial enterprises and social- public fields informationization.
