Colleges and universities should take the responsibility for the cultivation of high- quality intellectuals. The occupational characteristic of navigation determines that humanity education is an essential measure to improve the comprehensive quality of navigation college students. This paper presents on this issue such concrete measures as propagating traditional culture, enhancing aesthetic education, promoting semi -militarized managernent, developing students＇ regularity awareness and increasing their artistic knowledge.
