任务型教学法是一种培养学生运用英语解决实际问题的能力的有效方法。本文结合商务英语函电课程特点和作者的教学实践,阐述了应用任务型教学法进行商务英语函电课堂任务设计的基本原则、设计步骤以及教师作用定位。从而指出应用任务型教学法对商务英语函电课堂任务设计及教学具有重要意义;为探讨更多有效的商务英语函电课程教学方法提供了崭新的视角和借鉴。

TBLT is an effective way to cultivate students＇ ability in solving practical problems with English. Based on the particular features of the course of Business English Correspondence and the author＇s teaching experience, this paper illustrates the basic principles, design proeedures and teachers＇ role orientation when applying TBLT to the task design in teaching Business English Correspondence. It hence points out the important significance in applying TBLT to BEC teaching and it provides new perspectives to explore more effective approaches in BEG teaching.
