Image of the Woman in the Films of the Earlier Stage of the Republic——by example of the three films of Red Women Soldiers,Song of the Youth,and Li Shuangshuang

以《红色娘子军》、《青春之歌》、《李双双》三部影片为例,探讨共和国前期电影中的女性形象,共和国前期电影中的女性,在身份上经历了从妇女而战士再到党员的转变;其外在形象体现了男性化的特点;其情欲无一例外地被遮蔽,被删除;所有这些,体现出了新生的民族国家的一种自我认同。

By the example of the three films of Red Women Soldiers, Song of the Youth, Li Shuangshuang, we could offer a probe of the image of women during the earlier stage of the Republic. During this particular period, the identity of women experienced the change from the female to soldier and to the Party member so that on the outside the image was characterized in its embodiment of the female with the concealment and deletion of sexual desires. Such features revealed the self-identification of a new-born country with national qualities.
