Picture Connotation in Meng Haoran's Pastoral Poems

孟浩然、王维是盛唐山水田园诗的代表,"诗中有画"是王维诗歌的艺术特征,但孟浩然诗歌中的类似特色却较少为人注意,受到了不应有的忽视。其实,孟浩然诗歌的画意表现在情景交融、色彩素淡、构图巧妙等方面。

Meng Haoran and Wang Wei were the representatives of pastoral poems in the prosperous times of Tang Dynasty, pictures connotated in the poems is the art characteristics of Wang Wei＇s poem, while the similar characteristics in Meng Haoran＇s poems is neglected and little attention is paid to this. This article believes that the picture connotation in Meng Haoran＇s poems is embodied in its blend between feeling and scene, plainness of colors and craftiness of the composition of pictures.
