摘要
在学习化社会,美国大学的公共服务活动主要有教师咨询、企业职员和政府雇员培训、社区问题解决、社会批评、社会活动与国际服务等方式,但也面临着公众对公共服务理解不够,教师对公共服务持消极态度与大学要改进公共服务方式等挑战。这给我国大学的启示是:理解公共服务,根据高校类型的不同发展不同的公共服务方式,改变教师观念,建立一套合理、良性的社会服务系统。
In learning society, the main public service activities of American universities are teacher consulting, training of enterprise staff and governmental staff, solving community problems, social criticism, social activities and international service, but it also confront with many challenges such as that the public can't understand public service adequately, teachers usually take negative attitude to public service and the universities want to reform public service mode. Its enlightenments to universities in China are: understanding public service, developing different public service modes according to types of universities, changing teachers' view and building a suit of reasonable and benign social service system.
