我国竞技网球职业化发展已经走过第五个年头,中国选手在国际重大比赛上也获得了可喜的突破。但在由"国家体制"向市场化过渡的最初阶段,我们应该清楚地认识、顺应国际网坛的发展趋势,一面提高选手的技术水平,一面转化项目管理部门的职能,才能尽快培养出更高水平的职业运动员,创造出具有国际竞争力的网球产品。

The professionalization of competitive tennis in China has been in the fifth year. Chinese tennis players have made a heartening breakthrough in major international events. However, being in an early transition stage from the athletic sports state system to market, we should recognize dearly the trend of the profess of international tennis to be in tune with it. It is important to raise the technical level of players, as well as transform the functions of sports management. We can produce professional players with higher levels and create tennis products of international competitiveness as soon as possible.
