Variation of Brain Natriuretic Peptide and Matrix Mmetalloproteinase-9 in Patients with Congestive Heart Failure

摘要 目的探讨心力衰竭患者血浆脑钠肽(BNP)和血清基质金属蛋白酶(MMP-9)的变化及其临床意义。方法采用ELISA法测定80例心力衰竭患者入院第2日清晨血浆BNP、MMP-9水平,用心脏彩色多普勒诊断仪测定其左室射血分数(LVEF)。测定20例同期健康体检者作为对照。结果心力衰竭患者血中BNP、MMP-9水平明显高于正常对照组,与心功能纽约分级(NYHA)程度呈正相关,与左室射血分数(LVEF)呈负相关。结论BNP、MMP-9水平可以作为诊断心力衰竭的一个很好的指标,能较好地反映心功能不全的严重程度和左室的功能。 Objective To explore the variation and significance of brain natriuretic peptide (BNP) and matrix mmetalloproteinase- 9 (MMP- 9) in patients with congestive heart failure (CHF). Methods The study population consisted of 80 patients with congestive heart failure (CHF)and 20 patients with normal coronary. Plasma BNP and MMP-9 was measured by ELISA the next morning after admission, the left ventricular ejection fraction (LVEF) was measured by echocardiography. Results The plasma BNP level and MMP-9 level in CHF group was higher than that control group; The level of BNP and MMP--9 were positively correlated with the classification of NYHA; the level of BNP and MMP-9 were negatively correlated with left ventricular ejection fraction(LVEF). Conclusions Plasma BNP and MMP-9 levels increase significantly in patients with CHF, which suggests that BNP and MMP-9 play an important role in the pathophysiology of CHF. Serum BNP and MMP-9 levels can refleet the degree of heart failure and reflect left ventrlcular size and remodeling.
