On Li Fu's Historical Conception of Confucian Orthodoxy

李绂是清代心学的重要人物,他主要通过编纂学术史的方式,以《陆子学谱》、《朱子晚年全论》来奠定他的道统史观。同时,他还在一些散论中对其道统论进行了重要补充,建立了一个上起唐虞,下至王阳明的甚至包括程朱的庞大而复杂的道统体系。他将整个儒学史视为一部心学史,对于陆王心学的道统论作了最后的总结。

Li Fu was the key figure of “study of heart” in Qing Dynasty. He compiled Academic Record of Master Lu and Comprehensive Consideration of Master Zhu＇s Later Years to establish his historical conception. He also wrote some articles to complete his theory of Confucian orthodoxy, building a large and complex system covering from Tang Yu to Wang Yangming, including Cheng Hao, Cheng Yi and Zhu Xi. Li Fu regarded the history of Confucianism as the history of “study of heart”, offering a summary of Confucian orthodoxy for “study of heart” by Lu Jiuyuan and Wang Yangming.
