摘要
波普尔的哲学思想是霍姆斯比较教育思想的理论基础之一,"证伪"是波普尔哲学的一个核心原则,因而,霍姆斯的比较教育思想中具有明显的证伪取向。霍姆斯主张比较教育研究要为教育决策服务,而最重要的服务方式即政策证伪。霍姆斯对社会科学特殊性的理解,对教育规划的认识,对教育决策的不满以及对比较教育学者身份的界定都体现着政策证伪的取向。
Popper's philosophy,in which refutation is a core prmciple,is a theoreeical of Holmes's thoughts about comparative education ,which thus show obvious inclination of refutation. Holmes supposes the idea that comparative research should serve for educational decision-making in which policy-refutation is the most important way. The inclination of policy-refutation is shown in such aspects as Holmes's view about the particularity of the social science,his understanding about education planning,his dissatisfaction about educational decision-making as well as his definition on the status of comparative education researchers.
