摘要
一般认为,现代主义诗歌,尤其是《荒原》,被规约为高度的艺术直觉,时空转换频繁而且无序。但研究发现,在缺乏连续性预期的《荒原》片断化空间的表象下面,隐藏着统一的空间运行节奏和流动轨迹,即空间小范围的规律性位移和长途线性流动,以作为对正统空间模式极度背离的补偿。换言之,以《荒原》为代表的现代主义诗歌空间局部追求片断化,但整体上依然保留着一些统一特性。只不过更多时候,"一部作品的整体统一性表现在‘内心关联的完整图式’或‘内心关联的原则’之中",用以表达作者对和谐宇宙的向往和追求。
Under the surface of the fragmental spatial images of The Waste Land,there lie certain spatial rhythms and orbits,namely,small recurrent spatial movements and far-flung linear marches,which function as an amendment for a severe divergence from the norm of spatial construction.In a nutshell modern poetry,with The Waste Land as the most representative,exhibits there inherent unity in spite of superficial fragmentation.
