Global View of History and the Division of the World History

历史分期的研究方法如今被全球史观全新的史学思维范式完全否定了。传统的历史主义史学流派代表了一种以时间先后为序的纵向思考为基础的史学思维范式,强调历史发展进程中的连续性,历史分期这一史学研究方法就是从中找到了自己的合理性。全球史观主张把一切发展、变化或历史现象都纳入共时性研究,强调非连续的变化过程,历史分期的合理依据在全球史观的横向思维范式中已经没有了立足之地。新史观的史学家们纷纷宣告自己摈弃历史分期法的姿态在不同程度上同分期法划清了界限。

The method of division of historical periods has been negated completely by the brand - new historical thought pattern. The traditional historicism schools represent a historical thought pattern which is based on vertical thought in chronological order. This theory system mainly emphasizes the continuity in the process of history. Divi- sion of history as a historical research method finds its rationality from this historical continuity. The global histori- cal schools claim to bring all the developments, changes or history phenomena into the co -time （synchronism） re- search, and emphasize no continuity of changing historical process. The reasonable basis of history - division method has lost its footing in horizontal thought pattern of the global history.
