摘要
本文运用原型范畴理论和体验哲学两个认知语言学理论来构建生命度梯级这个构念(construct)。然后应用生命度梯级解构了生命度信息在词语意义引申、英汉被动句成因以及词类划分中对意义构建的核心作用,认为生命度是构建语言意义的核心因素之一。
Based on the Prototype Theory and the Philosophy of Embodiment, ＂animacy hierarchy＂ is developed as a new construct. With the ＂animacy hierarchy＂, we applied it for the exploration of semantic extension, the construction of passive voice in both Chinese and English, and the classification of Chinese word class, Finally, it is claimed that animacy constitutes a component indispensable to meaning.
