摘要
比喻性语言是一种语用多义结构。在认知过程中人们如何理解比喻性语言的语义,具体说来究竟是哪种语义最先为人们所认知,在语言学界有不同的解释。本文认同G iora提出的"层级意义凸显假说",解释了意义凸显的体现形式,并对比喻性语言的意义凸显进行了认知阐释。
Figurative language is a kind of polysemous structure in use. In linguistics, there are different interpretations as to how to understand figurative language, i.e. which meaning being obtained by the hearer. This thesis approves the " Graded Salience Hypothesis" suggested by Rachel Giora, explains the forms of "salience of sense", and then provides cognitive evidence for the sense salience of figurative Language.
