摘要
本文简要回顾了北京矿冶研究总院图书馆数据库的发展历程，着重叙述如何更好地利用院图书馆数据库，使其发挥应有的作用，并展望了图书馆数据库的未来。
In this paper, the development of library database of Beijing General Research Institute of Mining and Metallurgy (BGRIMM) is briefly reviewed. How to use it better and to play its proper role is mainly described. A survey of library database in prospect has also been made.
