该文在对济宁城址变迁探讨的基础上,论述了明清济宁城市布局与运河的关系,重点探讨了运河管理机构分布及沿河商业区布局,并研究了运河对于城市社会生活的影响,以此阐述明清运河对于济宁城市建设的重要作用。

This article discusses the vicissitude of Jining city sites, expounds the relationship between the urban layout of Ming and Qing Dynasties and the Grand Canal, discusses with emphasis on its distribution of management organization and layout of shopping center along the Canal, studies the influences of the Canal on social life in city to explain the significant effects of the Grand Canal to Jining urban construction.
