Realizing the prevalent dyslipidemia and the levels of serum lipids in the races of the Hans and Kazakstans to provide evidences to prevent dyslipidemia. Methods Using stratifying and cluster sampling to sample 2504 inhabitants of Hans and Kazakstans from Shihezi and the town of Xigebi, Niujuanzi, Besitenghu, carrying out cross-sectional investigation, to detect the levels of TG, TC, LDL-C and HDL-C. Applying X^2 test, t test and ANOVA test for the data. Result The TC, LDL-C, HDL-C abnormality prevalence rate of Kazakstans is 13.8 %, 11.0%, 26.8 % which is higher than Hans' 9.4% ,4.9%, 9.2% (P 〈 0.05). TC abnormality prevalence rate of Hans is 31.7 % which is higher than Kazakstans' 17.4% (P 〈 0.05). 2)The level of TG and HDL-C of Hans is 1.60 ± 1.08mmol/L and 1.68 ± 0,72mmol/L which is higher than Kazakstan' 1.21 ± 0.77mmol/L, 1.15 ± 0.46mmol/L ( P 〈0.05). The level of LDL-C of Kazakstans is 2.40 ± 0.95mmol/L which is higher than Hans' 2.00 ± 0.95mmol/L ( P 〈 0.05 ). There is no difference between Hans' 4. 42 ± 1.32mmol/L and Kazakstans'4.35 ± 1.63mmol/L in the level of TC. There is a high dyslipidemia prevalence rate in Kazakstans, in particular' the LDL-C and HDL-C abnormality prevalence rates are significandy higher than Hans, which may result in high incidence of hypertention of Kazakstans in this area.
