Independent Innovation and Building an Innovation-oriented Country

自主创新是建设创新型国家的核心,是国家发展战略的根本和保证。目前我国技术创新同经济与社会发展的要求还有相当大的距离,因此,要借鉴他国成功经验,加快自主创新步伐,科学、有序地推进产业结构调整,积极调整产业结构增强自主创新能力。即通过优化科技资源配置、强化制度创新建设、完善考核指标体系、大力培养创新人才、加强信息平台建设等,把增强自主创新贯穿于经济与科技工作的各个方面和各个环节,以自主创新推动经济与社会的可持续发展。

Independent innovation is the core of building an innovation -oriented country and is the tunclamental national development strategies. Presently, Chinese technological innovation does not accord with the requirements of economic and social development, therefore, we should draw on the successful experience of other countries to speed up scientifically and orderly the pace of independent innovation. Independent innovation should be applied to economic and social work through optimum allocation of technological resources, and strengthening system innova tion, improving the examination indices, cultivating creative talents, enhancing information platform construction and so on, and to achieve the objectives of sustainable development.
