The Literature-History Significance of Love-Sex Descriptions of the Shanghai Style Novels

在上海这片古旧的传统伦理道德的土壤上,我们既可以看到五四启蒙理性的影子,又可以看到崭新的都市所承载的前卫现代的性伦理观念的身影,同时随着革命文学逐渐火爆,还不时有革命理性的身影在文本中闪现。从五四时期人们对爱情的渴望,到海派作家对爱情的解构,到革命文学中作家对"灵与肉"的弃绝,再到20世纪90年代之后的部分作家性的放纵,对爱情的冷落来看,我国文学领域中的灵与肉的张力关系经历了此消彼长的动态过程。

In the soil of Shanghai of ancient traditional ethic morality we can see both the shadow of the May 4 inspiring rationality and the image of frontier modem sex moral concepts bome by the new city life. Meanwhile, along with the popularization of the revolutionary literature, the shadow of revolutionary rationality can also be seen in the writings. From the desire for love in the May 4 movement to the analysis of love by the Shanghai style writers, to the negation of the ＂flesh and soul＂ by the revolutionary writers,and to the indulging of sex with abandoning of love by post-1990 writers,we can that in the field of literature the relationship between soul and flesh has experienced a dynamic pattem of several ups and downs.
