The quality control of UNHS in Chengdu

目的建立成都市新生儿听力筛查质量控制体系,保证全市新生儿听力筛查工作质量,达到听力筛查的目的。方法按照卫生部《新生儿听力筛查技术规范》的要求建立质控指标;建立医院、区(市)县、市三级质量控制网;依靠成都市妇幼保健网进行监测,提供数据、分析、反馈上报;形成完整的质量控制体系。结果利用成都市新生儿听力筛查三级质量管理体系,准确和及时掌握全市产科医院新生儿听力筛查的情况。对2007年1～12月筛查的46018名新生儿进行监测,现已诊断出患有听力障碍的婴儿96名,并进行早期干预,其余在随访中。结论对新生儿听力筛查工作进行质量控制,可达到扩大新生儿听力筛查的覆盖率、提高听力损伤的检出率和及时干预的目的。

Objective To construct the quality control system of universal newborn hearing screening （UNHS） in Chengdu in order to achieve the goals of UNHS. Methods We set up the quality control index according to the UNHS Technological Criteria of the Ministry of Public Health and established a third-level quality control network, including hospital, area and city. Chengdu women and children health care network was used for monitoring, providing and analyzing data and reporting. Results The third-level quality control network of Chengdu was utilized to acquire the information of UNHS in all the obstetrical hospitals timely and precisely. By supervising all the 46018 newborns who have received hearing screening from January to December 2007, all of the 96 newborns who were diagnosed with hearing loss have received intervention and follow-up. Conclusion UNHS network is used to carry out quality control at three levels including hospital, area and city so as to ensure the quality of UNHS task, expand the coverage rate of UNHS, improve the detection rate of hearing loss and provide timely intervention.
