摘要 多丽丝·莱辛在对自我、传统和既定思想的不断否定和发展中逐渐形成自身独特的创作理念,这种不断否定和质疑的创作态度使莱辛一路前行,使其作品日臻完善,越来越富有蕴含。莱辛对于人生遭遇的种种困境的描述反映出其对人类尤其是女性命运的思考,她对于当时文学思潮、精神病理学及苏非哲学的批判和继承表现出她对现代社会精神危机的深层关注,她的系列太空小说也反映了她对人类未来命运的深度关怀。这种不断否定的品格和对人类命运的忧思成就了莱辛创作的经典价值。
