On the Subjectivity of the Path of Constructing Socialist Harmonious Society

和谐社会是"以人为本"的社会,其构建过程必然要凸现人的主体性。从"以人为本"的理念中演绎出和谐社会建构路径的主体性,是马克思主义的理论要求和中国社会发展的现实需要。构建和谐社会,要尊重和保障广大人民群众的主体地位,发挥人民群众的主体作用,在人民群众追求真善美的活动中积淀出社会和谐的基本要素。

Harmonious society is 'people-oriented' society, and the process of constructing it should embody human's subjectivity. Deducing the subjectivity of the path of constructing harmonious society from the 'people-oriented' idea is the request of Marxist's basic theory and Chinese social development. Constructing harmonious society should respect and protect the principle position of the mass, and exert the principle function of the people. At the same time, we should accumulate harmonious elements during the people's action of seeking truth, good and beauty.
