本文首先简要地叙述了多项式回归在数据处理中的应用,进而对回归多项式的计算方法做了较为详细地描述,最后设计出了计算回归多项式的 BASIC 语言程序,并对程序作了扼要说明,给出了运行示例及结果。

The application of polynomial regression to the data processing is firstly pre- sented in this paper.More detailed description is given to the calculation method of regression polynome.A program Written on BASIC Was designed for calcula- ting the regression polynome An example of calculation using this program and its result are given at the end of the paper.
