摘要 经过十多年的高校文化素质教育活动,目前我国大学生的综合素质普遍有所提高,但是高校教育中仍存在着重成才、轻成人,即重功利、轻素质的一些倾向。造成这一倾向的原因是多方面的,其中对文化素质教育的理解还存在认识上的不足。应从3个层次上理解文化素质教育:其一,文化素质教育的锋芒是针对忽视人文教育,即解决"做人"的问题;其二,文化素质教育的重点是加强中华民族文化教育,即解决"做中国人"的问题;其三,文化素质教育的核心是科学教育与人文教育的交融,即解决"做现代中国人"的问题。 After ten years of cultural quality education, the comprehensive quality of Chinese college students has been improved. But in higher edueation, more emphasis is still laid on "being a talent" than on "being a human being", or on material gain than on quality. This is caused by many factors, among which an inadequate understanding of cultural quality education is the most important one. Actually, cultural quality education has three implications. First, it aims at solving the problem of "being a human being" in view of the neglect of humanistic education ; secondly, it aims at solving the problem of "being a Chinese" by laying stress on education of Chinese national culture; thirdly, it aims at solving the problem of "being a modern Chinese" by combining scientific edueation and humanistic education.
